Robert Genn

With a personal style that is unmistakable in substance and form, Robert Genn is influenced by the Group of Seven. Recognized as one of Canada's most accomplished painters, his work is sought after for its strong design, harmonic patterns and color arrangements in the gestalt fashion.

Genn was born in the British Columbia capital city of Victoria. He attended the University of British Columbia and the prestigious Art Center School of Design in Los Angeles.

Mood, colour and image in his work is one of tranquility - where artist and viewer are at peace with nature. Today, Robert Genn's originals and serigraphs retell the emotional experience of a scene that seem both familiar yet unknown.
