Rick Etkin

A native Vancouverite, Rick Etkin has explored the world of photography since receiving his first camera at age eleven. Rick pursued his passion through college, graduating from Vancouver Community College (Langara) in 1978. Photography for advertising and communication has been Rick's sole career.

Since his initial schooling, Rick has created advertising photography for an international blue chip clientele including Adidas, Microsoft, Mars Candies, Petsmart and many others. Rick's work has been featured in major communication industry journals and magazines: Applied Arts, Communication Arts, Studio Magazine, The Design Journal, How, Enroute, Ripe Magazine and more. Known for his diverse photographic abilities, Rick is now finding new avenues to express his creativity as an artist.
