Rob Hooper

"I love to paint," says Rob Hooper. It shows, five short years ago Hooper picked up a paintbrush for the first time. In this brief and spiritually rewarding period, Hooper has created well over 1,000 images and his own unique and imaginative style of painting.

His confident use of extraordinary colors and texture have created an exhuberant and passionate response from the viewer and collectors. Hooper's work is represented by select galleries across North America. Places like Vancouver, Denver, Portland, Memphis and Carmel.

Hooper's paintings are positive and innovative, sometimes drawing conflicting comments from the art establishment. For example, "We love your work, but, we don't know what to do with it." "Whatever," says Rob, "I love to paint and people love to own my work. For those that don't like it, there are plenty of landscapes out there."
