Carol Lopez is an accomplished Canadian painter, born in Saskatchewan and later moving to Vancouver where she gained notoriety. Her adventurous spirit and talents have taken her throughout Canada, the West Indies, Cuba, Hawaii, Europe, and many places in Mexico. Having now settled in her home, she lives in a small beach town called La Manzanilla. You can see these worldly experiences and passions reflected in the wide range of her artwork. Artist-in-Residence Experiences: Carol has participated in several adventures as a guest artist including: -Gela, Bulgaria -The Virginia Centre for the Creative Arts -Kalani Honua, (an arts center in Hawaii) -Universe Explorer, a “floating university” cruise ship.
